NO PURCHASE NECESSARY OR PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Eligibility: The Bacon Days Sweepstakes (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the State of Hawaii who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, event organizers, contractors, affiliates, related entities, and owners of Bacon-Universal Company, Inc., Bacon Rentals, and Vertical Technologies (collectively, “Sponsor”) and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) and those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void elsewhere and where prohibited by law.
Contest Period: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (“HST”) on June 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. HST on June 30, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received by Sponsor during the Contest Period, except for mail-in entries described below, which must be postmarked during the Contest Period and received within five (5) business days following the close of the Contest Period.
How to Enter: There are two (2) methods of entry, and no purchase is necessary to enter or win.
a) Purchase Entry. During the Contest Period, customers who make a qualifying purchase at any Bacon Universal, Bacon Rentals or Vertical Technologies branch in the State of Hawaii, including, but not limited to, equipment sales, equipment rentals, retail items, parts, and service, will receive one (1) entry card per qualifying purchase from the branch where the purchase is made. Entrants must legibly complete the entry card with their full legal name, telephone number, email address, and company name (if applicable) and deposit the entry card into the designated prize draw cooler located at that branch during regular business hours. Multiple qualifying purchases will entitle the entrant to multiple entries, one (1) entry per qualifying purchase.
(b) Free Method of Entry. To enter without making a purchase, hand-print on a 3½ x 5 inch card the following information: (i) your full legal name, (ii) your telephone number, (iii) your email address, (iv) your company name (if applicable), (v) the name of the Bacon Universal, Bacon Rentals, or Vertical Technologies branch nearest to your home in Hawaii at which you wish your entry to be considered for the Branch Prize drawing, and (vi) the words “Bacon Days Free Entry.” Mail the completed card in a separate envelope with sufficient first-class postage to: Bacon Days Sweepstakes, c/o Bacon-Universal Company, Inc., 918 Ahua Street, Honolulu, HI 96819. Mail-in entries must be postmarked during the Contest Period and received by Sponsor no later than five (5) business days following the close of the Contest Period to be eligible. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per outer envelope. Mail-in entries will be entered into the Branch Prize drawing for the branch designated by the entrant and into the Grand Prize drawing, on the same basis as Purchase Entries. If an entrant fails to designate a branch, designates a branch that is not participating, or designates more than one branch, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, assign the entry to a participating branch or deem the entry ineligible. Mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, late, lost, misdirected, or postage-due entries will not be accepted. No other method of entry will be accepted.
All entry cards become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Incomplete, inaccurate, or unacceptable entry cards, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, will not be eligible.
Any person who attempts to participate using multiple identities, false information, or any method, device, or artifice intended to circumvent the entry limitations or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest will be disqualified.
Prizes, Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) & Odds: The prizes consist of one (1) Branch Prize per participating branch and one (1) Grand Prize, as follows:
(a) Branch Prizes. On or about July 8, 2026, each participating Bacon Universal, Bacon Rentals, or Vertical Technologies branch will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries deposited at that branch and any mail-in entries designated to that branch. One (1) winner per branch will be selected and will receive one (1) YETI Roadie 32 Wheeled Cooler. ARV per Branch Prize: approximately $375.00. Total ARV of all Branch Prizes will depend on the number of participating branches.
(b) Grand Prize. On or about July 15, 2026, all eligible entries received during the Contest Period across all participating branches, including entries belonging to Branch Prize winners, will be entered into a single Grand Prize drawing to be conducted on Oahu. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at random and may elect, in his or her sole discretion, to receive either: (i) one (1) Hawaiian Airlines travel voucher with a face value of $1,947.00; or (ii) a $1,947.00 Bacon Universal store credit (“Bacon Dollars”) redeemable at any participating Bacon Universal branch in Hawaii. The Grand Prize winner must communicate his or her election in writing to Sponsor within seven (7) days following notification. If no timely election is made, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the Bacon Dollars store credit. ARV of Grand Prize: $1,947.00. Hawaiian Airlines travel vouchers are subject to all terms, conditions, restrictions, and blackout dates imposed by Hawaiian Airlines, and Sponsor makes no representation or warranty regarding the same. Bacon Dollars are non-transferable, non-refundable, may not be redeemed for cash, and expire one (1) year from the date of issuance.
Odds of winning a Branch Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received at that branch. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received across all participating branches. No substitution, cash redemption, or transfer of prizes is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If any prize, or any portion of any prize, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of any prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Tax Reporting: Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to the Grand Prize winner reporting the value of the Grand Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to require the Grand Prize winner to complete and return a properly executed IRS Form W-9 (or such other tax documentation as Sponsor may reasonably require) prior to delivery of the Grand Prize. Failure to timely provide such documentation may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize and selection of an alternate winner.
Winner Notification and Claim: Branch Prize winners will be notified by Sponsor by email, telephone, or mail within five (5) business days following the applicable branch drawing. The Grand Prize winner will be notified by Sponsor by email, telephone, or mail within five (5) business days following the Grand Prize drawing. Each winner must execute and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and (where lawful) a publicity release within seven (7) days of the date of notification, and the Grand Prize winner must additionally provide a completed IRS Form W-9. Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, require any winner to present valid government-issued photo identification as a condition of receiving any prize. The return of any prize notification as undeliverable, or any failure to return required documents within the time period required, may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. Any prize unclaimed within fourteen (14) days following notification may not be awarded, and Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner. Winners must pick up their prizes at the applicable Bacon Universal branch (for Branch Prizes) or at a Bacon Universal branch designated by Sponsor (for the Grand Prize) during regular business hours. A potential winner is not a winner of any prize unless and until Sponsor has completed its verification of the potential winner’s eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
Use of Personal Information: By entering the Contest, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor may collect, store, and use the personal information provided on the entry card, including, but not limited to, name, telephone number, email address, and company name, for purposes of administering the Contest and for Sponsor’s ongoing marketing communications, including, but not limited to, email, telephone, and direct mail marketing, in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices and applicable law. Entrants may opt out of future marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any such communication or by contacting Sponsor in writing at the address listed below.
General Terms: All federal, state, and local laws apply. Each entrant further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Parties from any losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of any breach by the entrant of these Official Rules or any misrepresentation made by the entrant in connection with the Contest. The Contest Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or administration of the Contest. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsor, the Contest Parties, and their respective agencies to use the winner’s name, voice, photograph, likeness, and biographical information for purposes of advertising and publicity, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide and in perpetuity, without further notice, review, approval, or compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Sponsor and the Contest Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, stolen, illegible, inaccurate, damaged, incomplete, non-delivered, or postage-due mail, for printing, distribution, or production errors, or for any technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any human or other error which may occur in the Contest. If, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if technical difficulties, fraud, or causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control compromise the integrity of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries, modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest, or conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all known eligible non-suspect entries received and approved. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Contest or acts in a disruptive manner. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any entry that Sponsor believes in its sole and unfettered discretion infringes upon any third party right, violates any law, or otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY FORGE ANY INFORMATION, SUBMIT FALSE INFORMATION, DAMAGE ANY PROPERTY, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR AND THE CONTEST PARTIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Waiver: By participating in the Contest, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees, or any damages incurred to participate in the Contest.
Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Governing Law and Jury Waiver: This Contest is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. By entering, entrants irrevocably consent to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Hawaii located in the County of Honolulu for any action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Contest, and to a waiver of trial by jury.
