Bacon Universal & Kubota Partner at the 2026 Makawao Stampede

The Makawao Stampede returned to the Oskie Rice Event Center over the Fourth of July weekend, bringing together competitors, families, and rodeo fans for three days of competition at Hawaiʻi's largest rodeo. Bacon Universal once again participated in the event alongside Kubota.

This year marked Bacon Universal's third year as a Facility Sponsor of the Oskie Rice Event Center, supporting the venue that hosts the annual Stampede. The event is one of Maui's signature community celebrations, attracting spectators from across Hawaiʻi and beyond.

Throughout the weekend, the Bacon Universal team hosted a Kubota equipment display next to the main stage, where visitors could get up close to the machines and test their skills in the Kubota Excavator Challenge. Participants competed for the chance to win YETI coolers, while Kubota cowboy hats were handed out throughout the weekend.

Kubota's presence extended into the arena, with Bacon Universal, Bacon Rentals, and Kubota signage displayed throughout the grounds. Bacon Universal and Kubota also sponsored two of the rodeo chutes during the competition.
