A Western Welcome for Construction Industry of Maui

More than 150 construction industry professionals gathered at Bacon Universal's Maui branch on June 24 as we proudly hosted June's Construction Industry of Maui (CIM) Pau Hana.

The Boots, Bourbon & Bacon theme served as a pre-game celebration for the Makawao Stampede, with Bacon Universal being a proud Facility Sponsor of the Oskie Rice Event Center where Hawaii's largest annual rodeo takes place.

Guests were welcomed with complimentary Bacon-branded cowboy hats before enjoying slow-smoked BBQ, handcrafted bourbon cocktails, live country music, mechanical bull rides, axe throwing, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow members of Maui's construction industry.

The evening also featured a short presentation on the innovative JLG DaVinci® all-electric scissor lift and a celebration of Bacon Rentals' recent recognition as Hawaiʻi's Best Equipment Rental Company. Keeping with the western theme, attendees also had the chance to win Makawao Stampede tickets, western-inspired prizes and a portable Weber® grill.
