Heavy Equipment Technician
As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you’ll maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery from leading brands like Komatsu, Kubota, and many more. With opportunities to work in the service or rental shops or in the field, you will diagnose equipment problems, perform regular maintenance, and repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts.

All Bacon Universal technicians undertake OEM training throughout their employment to develop skills and remain up to date with the latest technologies.
Earn & Learn with a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!
$5,000
Sign-on bonus, post-tax, payable in six month increments over a period of 2 years, subject to achieving training criteria as outlined below.
Newly-hired mechanical trade school graduates in Technician 1 (helper) positions can choose from:
$3,000
Tool reimbursement over a period of one year ($250/month; post-tax) for newly hired Technician 1 (helper) positions.
OR
$5,000
Tuition reimbursement with no tool reimbursement. $2,000 for the first 2 years paid in increments of $500 (post-tax) every 6 months, with the balance of $3,000 (post-tax) upon completion of 3 years.
